RUGBY AND BASKETBALL A Rugby and basketball tournament was held by the Geraldine County and Seadown Schools at Winchester on Monday last, when the following teams participated: Orari, Milford, Hilton, Te Awa, Seadown and Winchester. A feature of the tournament was the friendly spirit in which the games were played. There were no trophies and no competition points. Results: Rugby Milford 10, Hilton 0; Orari 14. Winchester 0; Seadown 3, Te Awa 0; Orari 8, Milford 3; Winchester 8, Seadown 0, Hilton 8, Seadown 5. FIXTURE AT PLEASANT POINT On Thursday teams from Fairlie, Geraldine. Pleasant Point and Temuka District High Schools took part in basketball and seven-a-side football tournaments at Pleasant Point.
