Temperley, formerly one of the chief British representatives t Geneva, ha. died He served in the South African War, on the North-west Frontier, and in the Great War, where he won the D.S.O. He was correspondent for the “Daily Telegraph" in Abyssinia during the Italian invasion. He was 63.
