COUNTRY WOMEN’S EFFORT A Ladies’ War Guild was formed by the women of Rangitata and Rangitata Island at a meeting held recently. Mrs F. H. Ruddenklau w r as elected president and Miss Chalmers secretary Each member expressed her willingness to knit or sew. It was agreed that meetings be held in the Rangitata Soldiers’ Memorial Hall.
