LOANS FOR FINLAND AND CHINA

WASHINGTON. February 7.
The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has approved a bill to increase the capital of the Export and Import Bank by 100.000,000 dollars to permit of loans to China and Finland, which the bill limits to 20.000.000 each. The Import and Export Bank Loan administrator revealed negotiations for a new China loan repayable in tin. The bill permits China to receive 35,000.000 dollars in addition to the 25.000.000 dollars previously loaned.
The Federal Loans Administrator (Mr Jesse Jones) added that the Government also was considering credits to Norway Sweden and Columbia.
