It is reported from Lausanne that a German rushed to the police with a package which had been delivered at his hotel. He said: "I think it is a bomb. Wliile the anti-espionage inspector was examlng the package it exploded with a terrific detonation, killing the Inspector and seriously Injuring a police brigadier and the German who believed he was marked down as a victim of an espionage gang.
