In order to demonstrate India’s solidarity with the Empire in the war against Nazism, Lord Sinha, the only Indian peer whose eligibility to take his seat In the House of Lords was recently established by tne Committee of Privileges, will take his seat next month.
Vessel Floated Off Reef A message from Darwin states that the steamer Merkur was floated off the reef on which she rested for a week and reached Darwin unaided. The vessel is not seriously damaged and was to resume her southward voyage yesterday.
