NOSE-DIVE INTO SWAMP
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, January 22. When a Gipsy Moth training plane nose-dived into a mangrove swamp near Purnell on Botany Bay to-day, Pilot-Instructor F. A. Brown, was trapped below the surface of the water and although breathing when rescued could not be revived. A cadet in the machine was seriously injured but was saved.
