TWO WOMEN SCALDED
CONDITION NOT SERIOUS
Two young women were admitted to the Timaru Public Hospital yesterday suffering from the effect? of scalds.
Ivy Odey, aged 20, who is employed at Woolworths (N.Z.) Ltd., received scalds clown one side and part of her back. Jessie Hewson, aged 19, who is employed on the domestic staff at the Timaru Public Hospital, received scalds down her back. Neither girl was seriously injured, and both were reported to be making good progress last night.
