SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Wharves Remain Idle Tire following list of coastal steamers’ movements is compiled in accordance with advice supplied by agents for the different lines:—

Waipiata, Lyttelton Dec. 27 COASTAL VESSELS Listed Movements From Oamaru on Tuesday, the Holmglen will load for Wellington and New Plymouth. Her next port will be Lyttelton. On Wednesday the Port Waikato from Dunedin will take cargo for Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei. She will sail for Lyttelton. The Waiana from Dunedin is expected to load on Thursday for Wellington and Auckland, sailing via Lyttelton. On Friday, the Breeze, from Dunedin, will take shipments tor Wellington and Wanganui. She will proceed to Lyttelton. The Waipiata from Dunedin is scheduled to make port on December 24. On December 27 she will take general cargo for Wellington and Auckland, proceeding to Lyttelton. NEW ZEALAND PORTS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, December 17. Arrived yesterday: Port Whangarei (9.20 p.m.) from Timaru; sailed. Holmlea (12.5 p.m.) for New Plymouth; Holmglen (6.10 p.m.) for Dunedin. Arrived to-day: Karu (10.20 a.m.) and Gale (10.30 a.m.) from Lyttelton. LYTTELTON, December 17. Arrived yesterdiy: Gale (3.15 a.m.) and Karu (5.15 a.m.) from Timaru; Waiana (noon) from Wellington; sailed, Gale (5.5 p.m.) and Karu (5.10 p.m.) for Wellington; Poolta 6.5 p.m.) for Greymouth. Arrived to-day: Port Waikato (5.40 a.m.) from Wellington; Waimarlno (5.20 a.m.) from Timaru; Nlkau (8.20 a.m.) from Tarakohe. DUNEDIN, December 16. Arrived: Wainui (4 p.m.) from Lyttelton.
