LIBERALS RETURNED
New Brunswick Election United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 21, 6.30 p.m.) SAINT JOHN, November 20. The New Brunswick elections resulted in the Liberals being returned. The Liberals won 27 seats and the Conservatives 21. The issues were local ones. The election in 1935 resulted: Liberals 43 and Conservatives 5. Ministers defeated in the 1939 election were Mr J. B. McNair (Attorney-General), Mr A. B. Paterson (Education) and Mr E. J. Hemseberry (President of the Executive Council).
