In a Sheffield Shield match New South Wales beat Queensland by three wickets. New South Wales in the second innings made 268 runs for seven wickets. Dixon took four wickets for 67 runs. South Australia beat Victoria by three wickets. South Australia in the second innings made 310 runs for seven wickets (Bradman 64, Hamence 99, Badcock 30, Waite not out 42). Ring took four wickets for 104 runs.
