EVENING SPORTS MEETING The following programme has been arranged for this evening at Ashbury Park, commencing at 6.30: Women’s events: 75 yards handicap, relay 4 x 110 yards, broad jump, javelin. Men’s events: Relay 4 x 220 yards senior and junior (teams will be arranged on the ground), mile teams’ race senior and junior, broad jump (teams, senior and junior), javelin senior and junior. An interesting fixture has been arranged for next Saturday’s meeting to be held at Ashbury Park, commencing at 2 p.m. The second series of the group competition in the women’s section will be conducted. The following events have been arranged: March past, 100 yards handicap, relay 4 x 110 yards, broad jump, javelin, bob ball, leap frog. Men’s events: Relay events. South Canterbury juniors v. High School; relay 4 x 110 yards, relay 4 x 440 yards, mile teams’ race (teams of three), high jump (teams of three), broad jump (teams of three). Senior events: Relay 4 x 110 yards, relay 4 x 440 yards, mile teams’ race, broad jump (teams of three), javelin (teams of three), discus (teams of three), high Jump. AH' teams will be arranged on the groUlid.
