RADIO BEACON TESTS
SAFETY OF AUSTRALIAN AIR ROUTES United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 10, 12.44 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 9. Reports of greater safety of Australian air routes follows the publication of the Kyeema crash report. Tests of the radio beacon at Essendon which have been completed, and will be used as soon as airliners are fitted with receiving equipment which will be available in about a week. Tests were highly satisfactory.
