CONVERTED INTO A MUSEUM.— The townsfolk of Colchester have solved the question of the preservation of their Norman castle by converting it into a museum. The building of the castle was commenced twelve years after the Norman Conquest and is constructed almost entirely of stone and tile quarried in the days of the Romans.
