PLEASANT POINT

FUNCTION AT POST OFFICE On Monday afternoon the staff of the Pleasant Point Post Office assembled to bid farewell to Mr Ken Gliddon, who has been transferred to Christchurch. In making the presentation of a razor set, the postmaster, Mr Grocott, expressed appreciation of Mr Gliddon’s services and wished him every success in the future. Mesrs H. Halstead, M. Sewell, and other members of the staff cordially endorsed the speaker’s remarks. Mr Gliddon suitably replied.
