GUILTY OF THEFT
MAN SENT TO PRISON By Telegraph —Press Association ASHBURTON, November 2 John Arthur Crawford, of Dunedin, pleaded guilty to the theft of two overcoats, two travelling rugs and gauntlet gloves, of a total value of £ll/19/6, the property of various people, and was sentenced to one month’s hard labour on each of three charges, cumulative. The accused was seen to take the articles from cars and hide them in the grass.
