PARISIENNE IMPRESSES Special to " The Timaru Herald." CHRISTCHURCH, November 1. The Addington track was in good order this morning, and all the horses began their trials from a moving start. Parisienne finished with great dash over two miles in 4min 24 3-ssec. She conceded Aide de Camp, Southern Smile and Rey Spec 2 2-ssec start. In a hard tussle over the last furlong, Parisienne beat Southern Smile by half a length, with Rey Spec a length farther away and Aide de Camp another two lengths back. The first two furlongs occupied 36sec, the half-mile Imin Bsec, the mile 2min 17sec, the mile and a half 3min 23 2-ssec. Southern smile did 4min 27sec. Lucky Jack and Fremont were companions over two miles. Lucky Jack made the pace for a mile and seven furlongs, where Fremont challenged him, and they crossed the line on terms. The time was 4min 34sec, the first four furlongs taking Imin 12sec, the mile 2min 23 3-ssec, the mile and a half 3min 31 2-ssec. Both horses paced with great determination. Lawn Derby was sprinted four furlongs without hopples, in Imin ssec. He was not allowed to do his best. Rongomai exhibited old dash while pacing a mile and a half in 3min 23sec. Blair Athol was not all out while travelling a mile and a half in 3min 51sec. TimworthV and Ivy Petersen gave a pleasing display while covering two miles in 4min 49 l-ssec. Logan Derby and Isabel Derby were companions over two miles. Logan Derby was too good and registered 4min 27 l-ssec. The sectional times were half-mile Imin lOsec, mile 2min 17 3-5 sec, mile and a half 3min 24 2-ssec, 4min 27 l-ssec. Logan Derby is improving every day, and is gaining friends for his big engagements next week. Three Bells had one second start from Shrewdie, but Three Bells retained the lead all the way to record 4min 31 2-ssec. Casanova paced in fine style while covering two miles in 4min 38sec. The first twelve furlongs were covered in 3min 30sec. Guy Hugo and Royal Romance trotted a mile and a half in 3min 32 3-ssec. Royal Romance made a break after going a mile, and Guy Hugo waited for her to correct his gait, and they came home together. Pilot Peter had three seconds start from Treasure Bond in a bout over two miles. Pilot Peter gave a solid display to trot the concluding mile and three-quarters in 3min 56sec. Moana Tama went a mile and a half in 3min 30sec. Evicus outclassed Sage King over the last furlong of a trial over two miles which she covered in 4min 22 3-ssec. Indianapolis and Grand Mogul went a mile in 2min 22sec on the training circuit. Horse Power, Starwyn, and Worthy Empress were restricted to two miles in smin 6sec. They travelled at an even speed all the way.
