MAN ARRESTED IN NAVAL DOCKYARD By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, November 1. Described as a waiter, Alan Desmond Brennan, aged 20 years, arrested last night by the Devonport police on a charge of being found without a lawful excuse, but under circumstances which did not disclose a commission cr any offence, or Intention to commit any other offence, on the enclosed area of the naval dockyards, appeared in the Police Court to-day. “Tills is a ease where inquiries are absolutely essential,” said Sub-Inspec-tor Fox, who obtained a remand for a week.
