Scott and Mrs Betty Kirby-Green, who will make an attack on the England-Australia record, in the centenary air race Comet, will take off from Gravesend on November 7, In order to take advantage of the moonlight. Half-hour stops are planned at Aleppo, Karachi, Allahabad, and Singapore. Scott hopes to reach Australia in two days.
