Signor Mussolini, aboard the cruiser Trieste, which was escorted by destroyers, reviewed the convoy of 13 vessels conveying Italian colonists to Libya. The convoy was dressed and marshalled in two lines headed by the Saturnia, Marshal Balboa’s flagship. The colonists crowded the decks waving tricolours as II Duce passed by.
