TRANSFER OF BOOKS
LONDON UNIVERSITY LIBRARY United Press Association—By Electric Teleuraph Copyright (Received October 30, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 2?. The removal of 320,000 books forming the library of the University of London, from South Kensington to the new University buildings, close to the British Museum, was completed yesterday without damage to a single volume. The organisation of the new library is modelled on that of the Bodleian Library at Oxford. There are 8000 readers on the library roll.
