MINISTER’S SPECIAL WARNING United Pi ess Association—By Electric Telegraph—Coovright (Received October 30. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 29. The Home Secretary (Sir Samuel Hoare) in a circular to the local authorities reminds them of need for impressing upon householders the urgency of taking proper care of the respirators which were recently distributed throughout the country. The circular says: The Government provided respirators for the safety of the civil population, and it was therefore the duty of all citizens to ensure they were not damaged. Arrangements will be made for regular inspections. The delivery of boxes to contain masks has begun and will be completed as soon as possible. The rate of the manufacture of the boxes is about 5,000,000 weekly.
