LINCOLN ELLSWORTH'S PLANS United Press Assc nation—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright CAPETOWN, October 28. Mr Lincoln Ellsworth, the American explorer, will leave for Enderby Island to-morrow. From there he will proceed by air for the Bay of Whales. If he experiences bad weather, he will land on the ice and shelter in an igloo until he is able to continue.
He is carrying three months’ provisions and a sled in which he could travel to the coast in the event of engine trouble.
