EXHIBITION BY AMURI MOTORS For smartness of appearance and beauty of line, the Dodge car Is always to the forefront, and the exhibition of Dodge cars at this year’s Show by Amuri Motors Ltd. is no exception to the rule. The long wide, safety steel body of the Dodge Six with a solid steel top provides amazing interior roominess, the front and rear seats are wide and are of chair height for perfect ridfng comfort. A special feature of the Dodge Six is the recessed dash. It prevents the toe from striking when the clutch and brake pedals are pushed clear down to the floor. Genuine Dodge 4wheel hydraulic brakes ensure even braking over the entire braking surface. Stopping is certain and quick at all times. Huge presses stamp the Dodge top out of one solid piece of steel. Welded to the already exceedingly strong and rigid steel body, it produces unit construction of great strength and maximum safety. Rolled edges stiffen the frame centre section, while two added braces hold the X member of the new Dodge Six more solidly. The body is securely mounted to the frame by means of rugged metal brackets insulated with cushions of live rubber. The world-famous L-type Dodge Six 6-cylinder engine has been refined for even greater economy, performance and long life. Ample padding pillows the top of the front seat back, bringing the luxurious comfort of your favourite arm chair, and protecting rear seat occupants. Front door ventilating wings mounted on friction pivots, swing outward in a wide arc, scooping air into the front compartment when needed. Wide drip mouldings prevent rain from dripping on passengers. There is a real thrill in driving the new Dodge Six. The wide vision windshield offers maximum visibility. The Amuri Motors had also on exhibition a display of the ever-popular English “Standard” cars. (6)
