BLUE CLIFFS
SOCIAL EVENING The Bluecliffs Hall was well patronised on the occasion of the Maungati Y.F.C. wind-up dance. Music was supplied by an Orchestra, and novelty events were won by Mr and Mrs Redway (statue waltz), Mr J. Campbell and Miss Joyce Morris (Monte Carlo), and Miss F. Melrose and partner (station dance). Mr D. Neale, a club member, officiated as M.C. Owing to unforseen circumstances the Howell Challenge Debating Cup was not presented. Mr T. L. Dale, in apologising, said that this event would be held at a later date. Supper handed round by club members was then partaken of and dancing was continued until the early hours.
