SPRING SHOW

CHALMERS CHURCH Blooms of outstanding. merit were a feature of the Spring flower show and fair conducted by Chalmers Church in Chalmers Hall on Tuesday. Good entries were received, and the standard of the exhibits was particularly good. The champion bloom of the show was exhibited by Mr G. Coombes. of Geraldine, while the Chalmers Bowl for the most points in the narcissi section was won by Mr K. Burns, of Gleniti. A sale of work was conducted in conjunction with the show, and wellladen stalls attracted keen attention, and good business was done.
