HURUNUISEAT
LABOUR CANDIDATE SELECTED. By Telegraph —Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, July 13. Mr H. E. Denton, who succeeded in the ballot conducted by the Canterbury Labour Representation Committee to select a candidate to contest the Hurunui seat, has been officially endorsed by the headquarters of the party at Wellington. Mr Denton, who will contest the seat against the sitting member, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, is a member of the Christchurch Tramway Board, the Christchurch City Council, and the North Canterbury Hospital Board
