KIMBELL At the postponed meeting of the Kimbell Women’s Institute, Mrs Waters presided over a good attendance. Correspondence in connection with the sale of articles for the Blind Institute, was read and briefly discussed. Members endorsed the suggestion of the committee that a small sum be voted to the conference sales table. The success of the County’s bay at the Winter Show was referred to by Mrs Waters, and it was unanimously decided to smd a message cf rat illation to Mr Clz c. That members generally, arc taking a keen interest in the wellbeing of their organisation was amply proved by the manner in which they entered into a full discussion on the various remits for the forthcoming conference. The gold thread, took the form of a blackboard sketching competiti.n. A novel speed competition arranged by Miss Fraser, contributed to the li: hter side of the programme. Mrs G’"'en and Miss R.
