matches on Saturday night. The experienced Hungarians characterised their tactics by facility of movement and agility which was a big factor in the accuracy of difficult shots. The cleverness of their opponents cTten caught the Aucklanders napping. The cup presented by Mr H. V. Choyce, president of the Auckland Table Tennis Association, for the member of the home side giving the best performance against the visitors was won by K. G. Cantlay, New Zealand champion.
