SUCCESS OF BRITISH AIRMEN United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Recer ed July 11, 1.30 a.m.) LONDON. July 10. Two British gliders participating in the national gliding contest at Dunstable, Bedfordshire, broke the world two seater record by 21 hours 2 minutes, held in Germany, besides the British record for any glider of 13 hours 7 minutes. The names of the competitors were Flight-Lieutenant W. B. Murray stationed at Farnborough, and Stanley Sproule, aircraft engineer.
