CABINET CRISIS LOOMING
LEADERSHIP ATTACKED IN SYDNEY SEQUEL TO CHANGES IN PERSONNEL United Press Association—By Electrh Tel pgr a ph —Cop wig h t (Received July 10, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 10 A section of the press here hints that all is not well with the New South Wales Ministry. The origin of the trouble is the recent reconstruction of the Cabinet, when the Premier (Mr Stevens) dropped Captain the Hen. J. A. Chaffey (Colonial Secretary) and Major the Hon. J. B. Shand (Assistant Minister) both of whom arc now very bitter. They have a number of staunch supporters in the Government Party, who are suggesting that Spooner replace Stevens, in order to restore confidence in the leadership of the Government.
