COMMONWEALTH PRIZE DIVIDED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received April 1, 1.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 31. The Commonwealth prize of £lOO for a short story in connection with the 150th anniversary is to be divided among ten contributors, who will receive £lO each. These include Mr Henry Brennan, of Princes Street, Otahuhu, Auckland, whose story was entitled “A Leaf From a Diary.” None of the stories was of sufficient merit to warrant the full prize money.
