LABOUR SOCIAL
A euchre party and social organised by the Fairiie branch of the Labour Party, was held on Tuesday night in Fairlie, and it is intended to continue the functions fortnightly throughout the winter months. The first prize for women went to Mrs H. Williams, and the consolation to Mrs Jones. The men’s prize was won by Mr C. Cow’an, and the consolation priz r by Mr H. Williams. Dance music was supplied by a Mackenzie orchestra, women members of the branch provided the supper.
