LAST NIGHT S ROAD RACE The Timaru Cycling Club held a road race from ,Maori Hill to Levels Station and back last evening. There were 12 starters five of whom were juniors. In such a short, fast race, and with the best senior riders ompeting, the juniors had no chance and finished well back. A. Henshaw, who has ridden some great races this season, finished strongly to win easily from A. Hawkey. Henshaw also secured fastest time. The results were as follows: A. Henshaw (Ji'mins) 28mlns 33secs 1 A. Hawkey (ISmins) 28mins 52secs 2 J. Metcalf <lilmlns) 28mins 52 l-ssecs 3 Fastest time— A. Henshaw, 28mins 33mins; second fastest time A. Hawkey. 28mins 52secs.
