JEWISH PROTEST
DELAY IN PALESTINE CRITICISED United Press Association-By Electric Telegraph Copvrlght LONDON, January 7. The Warsaw correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” reports that a Jewish delegation claiming to represent a majority of Toland’s 3,500,000 Jews has strongly protested to the British Ambassador (Sir Howard Kennard) in the following terms: “Great Britain is frittering away time in sending a new Commission to Palestine, while the position of the Jews in Eastern Europe, especially in Roumania. is becoming desperate.” The Ambassador promised to forward these representations to London.
