WELLINGTON AS FLYING-BOAT BASE By telegraph— Press association WELLINGTON, January 7. The report is expected to be in the hands of the Government shortly of the Special Committee of Investigation set up in July last to report on the future of the Rongotai Aerodrome, Wellington, as the terminal for the overseas internal air services. The Minister in charge of Aviation, Hon. F. Jones, in an interview, said he expected to receive the report within the next two or three weeks. Mr Jones stated that the report was not ready yet of the special committee appointed in November last to advise the Government on the suitability of Wellington Harbour as a flyingboat base.
