INQUIRY PENDING
RECENT AVIATION ACCIDENT By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON. January 6. The Minister in Charge of Aviation, the Hon. J. Jones, announced to-day that a board of inquiry had been appointed to report on the air accident which occurred near the Rongotai Aerodrome, Wellington 1 , on December 3, and which resulted in the death of R. L. Elliott. The inquiry will be opened at Wellington on January 24. and the board will consist of Mr W. F. Stilwell, S.M., Wellington. SquadronLeader H. B. Burrell. R.N.Z.A.F., and Commander A. G. Gerrand, Union Airways, Palmerston North.
