HIGH PRICE FOR MERINO IN SYDNE«. United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph—Copyright (Received January 7, 12.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 6. At the wool sales to-day the highest price of the season was obtained for greasy merino which rold at 29d a lb for five bales from Yass. The offerings totalled 11,485 bales of which 8575 bales were sold also 1135 privately.
