HOLLAND’S RECOGNITION IN ABYSSINIA United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ROME, January 5. A semi-official communique welcomes Holland’s recognition of the Abyssinian conquest. Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Jugo-Slavia, Albania, Spain, ManchtrSuo, Poland and Yemen have already gjven de jure recognition, and Great Britain, France, Belgium, Greece, Bulgaria Roumania, Czecho-Slovakia, Turkey, Iran, Peru and Haiti have accorded de facto recognition by closing their ConsulatesGeneral in Addis Ababa. The communique adds: “If there are still Powers who feel they cannot solve the problem, Italy will not be the loser.”
