Morton and Co. Ltd., will hold their weekly auction of poultry, wheat, household furniture, etc., in their mart to-day, commencing at 12.30 p.m.

To-day at 1.30 p.m. at the Wentworth Auction Mart Runciman Pryor Ltd. will hold a sale of pianos, electrolux, Singer machines, beds, tables, ladies dresser, etc.

A garden fete will be held at Holme Station to-morrow at 2 p.m. when there will be whippet racing, dog trials, and numbers of other events. The fete is being organised by the Otaio and Bluecliffs Parish.

H. Allchurch and Co. advertise hundreds of cases of fruit to be sold at auction to-day. The usual sale of poultry and pigs will also be held. Times of sale will be seen in the auction columns.
