SOUTHERN CRUISE
LEITH’S ITINERARY By Telegraph—press Association AUCKLAND, January 5. On a summer cruise that will keep her away from Auckland until April, the Imperial escort vessel Leith will leave the Devonport naval base tomorrow afternoon for Queen Charlotte Sound and Picton. The Leith which is commanded by Captain L. C. P. Tudway, is to take one of the most extensive southern cruises ever made by a ship on the New Zealand station. Her programme is:— Queen Charlotte Sound and Picton —January 9 to 13. Timaru—January 15 to 21. Oamaru —January 21 to 27. Dunedin—January 27 to February 3. Bluff—February 4 to 9. Stewart Island and West Coast Sounds—February 9 to 18. Westport —February 18 to 23. Nelson—February 24 to March 1. Wellington—March to April 1. Lyttelton—April 2. Akaroa—April 2 to April 8 Lyttelton—April 8.
