HUNTER’S PROMPT ACTION Culled Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LUCKNOW, January 4 An elephant, belonging to a party of hunters led by Sir Douglas Baird, suddenly went mad and dashed its driver to the ground and knocked down fleeing people, killing two. Sir Douglas saved the village from destruction by shooting the animal dead.
