The Republicans claim that General Franco’s offensive at Teruel has been broken and the intensity of the attacks reduced, and that the only attempt of any consequence: an advance from Concur, has been repulsed. A message from Hendaye reports that a rebel communique declares that in spite of a recurrence of blizzards necessitating troops digging away snow for transport, the rebel troops conquered new points of the enemy territory, resistance causing thousands of casualties.
