COLLIE CLUB OFFICIALS APPOINTED In reviewing the last season at the annual meeting of the Geraldine Collie Club, the president. Mr T. T. Ritchie, who thanked jnembers for their support, said that last season’s trials had been • success, although the Club had not Improved its position financially. However, the Club had a small small credit balance. It was decided to hold next year’s trials on Thursc’ ’.y and Friday, April 7 and 8, and the secretary (Mr T. J. Paterson) was instructed to apply to Mr W. Blair, Peel Forest, for the use of his property. Mr R. A. Pringle reported that Mr Jack Acland had offered a sheep for weight-judging on the day of the ram and ewe fair. It was decided to accept the offer with thanks. It was agreed that the farmers’ class and maiden classes at the next trials be run on a sweep-stake basis, and that the prize money in the huntaway and long pull events be increased to £6, £4, £2 and £l. Mr R. A. Pringle suggested that a dance should be held on the night of the trials, and the suggestion was held over for discussion at a meeting in February.
