THE SESSION
SUMMER RECESS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, November 23. The Prime Minister stated to-day that Parliament would not sit past December 10, and if it were possible to finish the business in hand before then the House would adjourn earlier. The most important part of the session will be after Christmas. They had a good deal of preparation to make, both in respect to superannuation and national health. These important matters would be dealt with either in one Bill or two, whichever was the most practicable.
He added that he was not yet in a position to say which of the Bills would take precedence, but one important one would involve the consideration of and certain amendments to the existing land and income tax laws.
