CAR DASHES INTO TREE
PASSENGER RECEIVES FATAL INJURIES By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, November 21. Crashing head-on into a tree in Jervois Road, Heme Bay, to-night, a small car was wrecked and the driver and a passenger were injured, the latter fatally. The car had been rented from a city firm. The men were: Ronald J. Sands, single, aged 26, garage employee. Arthur Owen Greenwood, single, of Grey Lynn, who later died in hospital. Both were taken to the Auckland Hospital by a St. John Ambulance, Sands suffering from concussion and a fractured arm, and Greenwood from concussion.
