MYSTERIOUS FIRE
WOOLSHED DESTROYED By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, October 18. Mystery surrounds the origin of a spectacular blaze which completely destroyed the big woolshed and dip shed at the homestead of Mr R. F. R. Beetham, Brancepeth, later this afternoon. Thr woolshed, which was built about 32 years ago of heart timber, was considered to be one of the finest ip the country. There was no one working in the shed at the time of the outbreak, and with no fire fighting appliances available Mr Beetham and his employees were helpless. Half of the lops was covered by insurance. Shearing on Brancepeth Station, one of the largest in the district, will commence next month. Mr Beetham has already received an offer of assistance.
