FRENCH AIRMAN’S SUCCESS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Convrißht PARIS, October 5. Piloted by Captain Paul Codos, an Air Force four-engined Farman landplane established a record west to east South Atlantic crossing, Natal to Dakar, In 14 hours 27 minutes. The previous best crossing, also made by a Farman machine was 14 hours 40 minutes. Captain Codos carried 5271 b of mall and averaged 134 miles per hour, against head winds.
