FREER ACTIVITIES URGED British Official Wireless RUGBY, October 4. The plenary session of the League Assembly adopted a series of resolutions on economic and finacial matters. In these approval was given to the continuation of the efforts now being made to achieve freer international trade. At the request of Mr S. M. Bruce, the Australian delegate, the Assembly decided to study means of improving the standard of living. The Assembly also approved a resolution providing for the consultation of non-membem of the League in connection with the inquiry into the reform of the League Covenant.
