YOUTHFUL BURGLAR
RETURNED TO THE BORSTAL By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, October 5. “The accused had the misfortune to commit a crime under the eyes of a detective,” stated the Crown Prosecutor in the Supreme Court, when Herbert Alick Readman (20), appeared for sentence on a charge of breaking and entering a house with criminal intent. The prisoner, whose offence was committed when on probationary release from the Borstal, was recommitted to the institution for two years.
